From using Photoshop in just for negative scans, to eventually shooting digital, the introduction of the Raw dialogue box and from then working out a highly efficient work flow using Bridge, the Raw dialogue box and Photoshop. Remember the emphasis here is still photography, making you photos look great together with efficient workflow ethics.
